Privacy Policy
Effective August 7, 2026
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to sell and support Juxtapush, we never sell your data, we run no advertising or tracking scripts, and your AI conversations never touch our servers.
1. What we collect
Account data
Your name, email address, and a hashed password (we cannot read it). We use your email to operate your account: verification, password resets, receipts, refund updates, and the optional notifications you control from your settings page.
Purchase data
Orders, amounts, and license records. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card number never reaches our servers. We store Stripe's identifiers for your checkout session and payment so we can issue refunds.
Activation data
When a Juxtapush install activates or checks for updates, it sends its license key, an anonymous install identifier, the site's domain, and the installed version. We use this to enforce activation seats, show you your active sites, and serve the right downloads.
Email history
We keep copies of the transactional emails we send you, so support can see what you saw.
2. What we do NOT collect
- Your AI credentials and conversations. Provider keys are stored encrypted on your own server. Chats between your Juxtapush install and your AI provider go directly from your server to the provider and are never routed through, or visible to, us.
- Your site's content. What you build with Juxtapush stays on your host.
- Behavioral tracking. No analytics trackers, no ad pixels, no third-party cookies.
3. Cookies
We set two first-party cookies, both strictly functional: a session cookie that keeps you logged in and a CSRF token that protects forms. That is the complete list.
4. Who we share data with
Only the processors required to operate the service:
- Stripe — payment processing;
- our email delivery provider — sending the transactional emails described above;
- our hosting provider — running the servers this data lives on.
We never sell or rent personal data. We disclose data beyond this list only if the law requires it.
5. Retention and deletion
Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists and as long as tax and accounting rules require afterward. You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by emailing support@juxtapush.com; we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account revokes unexpired update windows but does not stop already-installed software from working.
6. Security
Passwords are hashed with a modern algorithm, traffic is encrypted in transit, license keys are cryptographically signed, and access to production data is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you without undue delay.
7. Changes
Material changes to this policy will be announced by email or on this page at least 14 days before they take effect. [GOVERNING JURISDICTION / regulator details - pending legal review]
